2024 Winter Sessions | Outlook

“Skate After School is back this Winter with a rain-or-shine program!”

We understand that skateboarding during the Winter season presents a unique set of challenges, however, we at GoGo Skateboarding have decided to follow through with classes rain or shine!

In previous years, postponing classes due to the rain was commonplace with an average of one or two classes per school needing cancellation. Our priority during the Winter season is to carry out a class where we can physically skateboard - even during light rainfall. If a heavier rainfall is forecasted, then we will explore options where we can potentially utilize a school’s gymnasium. If an indoor space is not available, then our team will accommodate skateboarding related activities in a school classroom.

The subjects and activities tentatively scheduled for sessions held indoors are as followed; Introduction to skateboarding history, how skateboards are made, component functionality, hands-on repair & maintenance, more in depth review on various skateboarding styles using pre-selected youth friendly videos, and art oriented worksheets. Our overall mission with respect to a rain-or-shine program is to offer an impactful experience where students are encouraged to express themselves creatively.
